I was a South Bend (Indiana) Firefighter retiring after over 40 years on the job.  My love for the Bourbon Trail came about when my youngest son told me of the Bourbon Trail he had heard about, and we decided one day, after Thanksgiving dinner in 2012, to take a drive and give it a try.  I was hooked.  Kentucky has some of the most beautiful countryside and the friendliest people Y'all have ever met.  My wife and I continue the adventure with friends, co-workers, family and just about anyone interested.  I just finished my 23rd tour and can't wait for the next one.  Follow along and enjoy the ride.
